At Paradoxx Sound School of Recording we have several programs to choose from depending on your needs. Our entry-level program Basic Recording was designed to provide the foundation for home recording. This course teaches you everything you need to know to make great recordings at home. It also covers mixing, so you can produce complete products to fit your musical needs.

Project Studio Engineering is an in-depth course that teaches the same fundamentals as basic recording with one big difference; hands-on recording in the studio. This training will prepare you for working with demanding musicians in the project studio environment.

If your future is in a commercial studio, then our Recording Engineering course is for you. In this course you learn one-on-one from the instructor while recording real music projects. We combine text learning with studio training to get you “up and running” in the fastest possible way.

If these courses do not fit your needs, we can design a custom learning program that will. At Paradoxx Sound School of Recording our goal is to provide the education you need to succeed.

As you can see from the above basic recording curriculum, we provide a sound educational base for your future in recording.  Each subject is covered in detail with our exclusive hands-on approach one-on-one with the instructor.

One example is the section on microphones.  After learning the design and characteristics of microphones, the student will set up and record several different instruments with a wide range of microphones.  Upon completion of this exercise, the student will have an audio CD with all the samples they recorded for future reference.  This type of hands-on leaning is typical throughout the entire program.
